Originally from the South East of England, Emma trained as a nurse in the UK and has worked in the health profession for nearly 20 years. She has held a variety of senior nursing positions both in the UK and in Australia, has travelled the country extensively and currently works for a premier hospital in Sydney. She has published research in the UK and in Australia. She teaches nursing students who have newly arrived in Australia, has written research papers about overseas nurses migrating to the country and manages a website and forums for nurses newly arrived down under. She also co-produced an orientation CD for overseas nurses migrating to Australia. So she knows what you want to know, and remembers what she wishes someone had told her.
